Gallery
Welcome to the Gallery. Here are some images of the styles of guitars I make. Each type has its own characteristic sound tempered by the woods chosen for the back and sides, the resonate qualities of the top wood, and perhaps some mysterious interactions among these, the bracing, the strings chosen, and the player. The Dreadnaughts are generally loud and work well in Bluegrass. The OM style also has significant volume but a different balance between bass and treble than the "Dreads". The 12 string Dreadnaught, the Classicals and hand-carved F-5 style mandolins round out the list of instruments currently being built by me.
